Slow week on the homefront

In the midst of finals week, not a lot’s going on until Washington State’s Sunday road date with Santa Clara.

Until then, though, I have some links of interest.

Post Falls standout guard Connor Hill, a preferred walk-on recruit, is featured here where he talks about his dream of playing at Wazzu. Hill, a 6-foot-2 guard, is leading the defending 5A champion and top-ranked Trojans in scoring at 24 ppg.

The Seattle P-I has a blog breaking down the Cougs and their 7-1 start.

Klay Thompson was once again named the NetScouts.com PAC-10 player of the Week.

ESPN currently ranks the Pac-10 seventh out of the 32 NCAA Division I men’s basketball conferences.

Washington State didn’t crack the top 25 on Monday, but it did get five votes in the AP Top 25 Poll and a single vote in the ESPN/USA Coaches Poll.

Speaking of ESPN, Joe Lundari’s Bracketology has the Cougars listed in “last four in” to the NCAA Tournament.
