Thompson, Casto honored by Pac-10

PULLMAN – For the second straight season, Washington State junior guard Klay Thompson has been named to the All-Pac-10 first team.

Thompson, a 6-foot-6 Naismith and Wooden Award nominee, leads the Pac-10 in scoring at 21.4 points per game. He also averages a team-high four assists and is bringing down 5.1 rebounds a game.

DeAngelo Casto, a 6-foot-8 255-pound forward from Spokane’s Ferris High, was a second-team selection. He was also named to the all-defensive team for the second straight season.

Casto averages 12 points,  6.8 rebounds and is third in the Pac-10 in blocks (44). He’ shooting 60 percent from the field.
