Host status looms large for Washington State in second NIT bout
PULLMAN – From an outsider’s perspective, it’s easy to see the nuisances Oklahoma State can pose.
They’re glaring, really, but so is one particular Cowboy shortcoming.
When the team is away from Stillwater, Okla., outcomes tend to lean a certain way.
The third-seed Cowboys come to Beasley Coliseum tonight at 8:45 for the second round of the NIT with a one of the more bullish lineups in the Big 12.
One figure in particular is 6-foot-7, 255-pound Marshall Moses (14.5 points, 7.4 rebounds) who leads a set of brutes who’ve given the most formidable front lines fits.
Throw in 6-8, 255-pound Matt Pilgram (coming off back-to-back double-doubles) and it’s no secret where OSU (20-13) looks first for its production.
It’s about as obvious as its putrid record away from Gallagher-Iba Arena.
